James Paul (Jamie) Brown, Jr. of Willow Grove and Hatboro passed away on February 28, 2023. He was 63. The son of the late James Paul and Mary Elizabeth Brown. He was the beloved brother, friend, uncle, nephew and cousin to the Brown and Suhosky families of Philadelphia, the Powell family of Hatboro and the Hasinger family of North Carolina. As for naming his friends, if he had met you, he was your friend.
After graduating Upper Moreland High School in 1978 he worked as a Butcher, the fourth generation, with ACME Markets. Being a highly creative person he turned his gardening hobby into "James Brown Landscape Designs - The Godfather of Soil" creating beautiful ponds and gardens.
His hobbies and recreational pursuits are too numerous to itemize but if they involved good music, good food, and good friends he was there. Regardless where fate and fortune placed him he remained full of life and ready for the next adventure.
His favorite band, Frank Zappa, is quoted "It's better to have something to remember than anything to regret" which perfectly reflects Jamie's philosophy of life.
A celebration of his life will be taking place in a few weeks at The Willow Inn in Willow Grove, PA. Details to follow.
