James A. (Jr,) Burns

James A. Burns, Jr. of Horsham passed away peacefully on February 9, 2023 at the
age of 89. He was the beloved husband of the late Patricia Ann Burns with whom
he had shared 60 years of marriage. James was born in Abington, PA a son of the
late James and Ella Burns, Sr.
James loved to garden and his family knew all the joy and peacefulness it brought
him. He enjoyed the outdoors, Beekeeping and cutting the grass on his Farmall
tractor. James was the man and neighbor who was always willing to lend a
helping hand to anyone who needed it.
James is survived by his two daughters, Beth Ann Burns and her husband Steve
and Karen Wiley and her husband Brian. Four Grandchildren, Kathren, Melissa,
Brian and Kevin. A nephew Martin Gordon and his wife Natalie plus many other
nieces and nephews who were all very close and special to him. James was
preceded by his sisters Shirley and Doris.
Relatives and friends will be received by his family on Saturday, February 18 th after
10:30am in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro and to attend his
Memorial Service at 11:30am. His interment will be private.
