James R. Cuozzo of Hatboro passed away, on October 14th 2023 in his home located in Horsham. He was 81. He was a devoted Husband of Ida with whom he had shared 46 years of marriage. He was born in Revere Beach, Massachusetts. The son of the late James M. Cuozzo and Joanna Cuozzo nee Nisco.
After graduating from Monsignor Bonner High School, James continued his education at Villanova University for four years before graduating. In his spare time Jim enjoyed spending time with his family. but his true passion was volunteering in the local area. James spent more than a combined 20 years as a member of Upper Moreland Little League Board of Director and PA District 22 official along with 40 plus years as a Little League, PIAA along with other Umpiring organizations. Jim also spent several years as an official or coach for Upper Moreland Basketball Association
In addition to his wife Ida, James is survived by, his brother Ronald Cuozzo, five children Christine Greenwood of Warminster, Robert Hinchliffe of Philadelphia, Mike Cuozzo of Horsham, Patricia Johnson of Warrington, Greg Cuozzo of Abington, fifteen grandchildren John Michael, Robert, Joseph, Thomas, Anthony, Ian, Trey, Cassidy, Jamie, Allison, Nicholas, Alyssa, and VIncent, and three great grandchildren Parker, Grayson, and Mia.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation and Mass on Friday, October 20, 2023, the visitation will be from 9:30am-10:30am with his Funeral Mass at 10:30am in St. John Bosco Church, 215 E County Line Rd, Hatboro, PA, 18974. His Inurnment will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.
