James Flowers Obituary

James L. Flowers of North Wales passed away on June 6, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Patricia A. Flowers with whom he had shared over 42 years of marriage. James was born in Goldsboro, North Carolina, the son of the late Samuel and Carrie Flowers.


In addition to his wife, James is survived by two children, Charlia Flowers and Brian Flowers and his wife Corey; his grandchildren Kailyn, Myra, Bryanne, Sylvester, Jamie, Tasha, Rashida, Isabella, Jimmy, and Casian; many loving great grandchildren; his brothers, Thad and Ken; his sisters Mary Ellen Coley and Carrie Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.


In addition to his parents James was predeceased by his brothers Sam and John Flowers; sister, Julia Lewis; as well as a son, James Flowers, Jr.

 

James loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed the simple things in life; a great baseball game especially if the Phillies were playing, cheering on the Eagles and the other Philadelphia sports teams, and spending endless hours smoking his famous ribs, a family favorite.


Relatives and friends will be received by his family on Tuesday Evening, June 11th after 7 pm in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro and are invited to attend his Memorial Service at 8pm. His interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorials in James’ memory may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society HERE. To share memories and condolences with his family, please visit his tribute wall above.
