James E. Hogan of Sicklerville, NJ passed away suddenly on April 11, 2025. He was 79 years old. James was the beloved husband of Catherine (nee Foy) Hogan with whom he had shared over 36 years of marriage. James was born in Philadelphia, PA a son of the late James and Dorothy Hogan.
In addition to his wife, James is survived by his in-laws, John and Mary Farley and many nephews and nieces their children.
James was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in Vietnam as an Army Ranger. James was an avid boat enthusiast, fisherman and golfer. He was a member of the World Travelling Golf Association and enjoyed playing in the Farley Open for many years. James was a proud graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School (1963) where he participated in the Band. He then graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and the Wharton School of Business with a focus in Accounting and Economics. He spent many years working in telecommunications departments and concluded his career at Virtua Hospital.
Relatives and friends will be received by his family on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 after 10:00 a.m. followed by his memorial service at 12:00 p.m. in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro, PA. His interment will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials in James’ memory may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
