James Leonard Obituary

James J. Leonard of Warminster passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021.  He was 78 years old.  James was the beloved husband of the late Ellen M. Mulvey Leonard.  He was born in Philadelphia, PA a son of the late Frank and Catherine Leonard. 

James was graduated from St. Joseph’s Preparatory High School; he loved and studied many languages.  He enjoyed collecting coins.  James was fascinated with trains and trollies and enjoyed visiting many times the Electric City Trolley Museum in Scranton, PA and Seashore Trolley Museum in Kennebunkport, ME.

He is survived by sister, Ellie Sullivan; a brother-in-law, Thomas Mulvey; a sister-in-law, Mary Mulvey; nephews, Thomas Mulvey, Jr. and John Murphy (Genie); nieces, Maureen Brophy (Christopher) and Eileen Mulvey; and many grandnephews and grandnieces.

Relatives and friends will be received by his family on Monday, December 13, 2021 after 9:30 a.m. in St. John Bosco Church, 215 East County Line Road, Hatboro followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m.  His interment will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne. 

In lieu of flowers memorials in James' memory may be made to St. Joseph's Preparatory School, Development Office, 1733 W. Girard Avenue, Philadelphia PA 19130.
