James McMenamin Obituary

James R. McMenamin, 68, of Levittown, Pennsylvania passed away on May 10, 2025 at Jefferson Bucks Hospital surrounded by family and friends. Jim was born in Bristol, a son of the late Edward and Catherine McMenamin.

Jim graduated from William Tennent High School in 1974. He worked at a variety of jobs throughout his career including managing an after-hours club, construction work, and owning successful cleaning and painting businesses. He enjoyed racing cars, fishing, and playing poker. He will be remembered for his generous nature which allowed him to support multiple charities, along with having an adventurous spirit.

Jim is survived by his sister, Cathy Spalding of Smyrna, Georgia, his nephews, Kris McMenamin and his wife Nicole of Warminster, Bryan McMenamin of Warminster, Colin Spalding and his wife Kacy of Atlanta, Georgia, and Austin Spalding of Brooklyn, New York, and a niece, Kelli McDermott and her husband Connor of North Port, Florida, in addition to several great-nieces and great-nephews. Jim was preceded in death by his brother, Robert and sister-in-law, Debbie McMenamin.

Relatives and friends will be received by his family on Saturday, May 17th after 11:00 a.m. at Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro, followed by his Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jim’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or HERE
