James D. Walsh, of Philadelphia, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2020. He was 62 years old. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late John J. and Marie C. (nee Montone) Walsh.
James was devoted to and heavily involved with Alcoholics Anonymous, where he earned the nickname “Coffee Pot” because he was always known to have a pot of coffee brewing.
He is survived by a daughter, Jennifer; his siblings, Eileen Simoes (Gary) and John Walsh (the late Carol); his nieces, Kelly Walsh (Colleen), Meagan Schabener (Michael), and Heather Torpey; and his great nieces, Miranda, Hailey, and Maddison.
Relatives and friends will be received by his family on Saturday, October 24, 2020 after 9:00 a.m. in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro followed by his memorial service at 10:00 a.m. His interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.
