Jean Blunt Obituary

Jean Kay Blunt of Warminster passed away, September 22, 2020 in Doylestown.  She was 84 years old.  She was the beloved wife of Robert Blunt whom she shared 59 years of marriage.  She was born in Philadelphia the daughter of Frederick and Beatrice Wager, and sister of Fred Wager and Joan Brennan.

Jean was primarily a homemaker, however, she worked throughout some of her life at various jobs, but her favorite was her time as a recess aid for Longstreth Elementary.  She had many fond memories of her Phillies Spring Training trips.  Every year, vacations were planned and enjoyed with good friends and family.  Summers in the pool were the highlight of every year whether it was splashing with the babies, playing toothpaste with kids, making whirlpools or relaxing in her favorite float.  Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her pride and joy.  She attended every game, concert and performance, and we have the programs to prove it.  She knew everyone’s favorite meal, and made it for their birthday dinners.  Holidays were filled with family, tradition and good times for all.  At the end of everyday when everyone went home, she loved relaxing with her dog, and having a drink with Dad.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 2016.  Jean is survived by her children:   Robert Blunt and his wife Sue of Lansdale, Jean Sweder of Warminster, and Fred and his wife Suzanne of Warminster; seven grandchildren: Erin Lobner and her husband Chad, Megan Daniels and her husband Cliff, Stephen Sweder and his wife Amy, Jeannie, Anna, Fred and Nick; six great-grandchildren:  Olivia Lobner, Jaxon Lobner, Audrey Daniels, Liam Lobner, Lottie Rice, Benjamin Sweder and her constant canine, companion, Bentley.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Tuesday, September 29th at 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM in Schneider Funeral Home 431 N.
