Jo Ann "Jody" Maloney

Jo Ann “Jody” Maloney (Marvel), age 60, passed away peacefully December 16, 2021.

She was born June 10, 1961 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Stanley Marvel and Edna Short. She married Fred Maloney in March of 1980. Raised in North Wales, graduated from Germantown Academy. Jody was a proud resident of Hatboro, Pennsylvania for the past 15 years.

She was a loving Mother to many; her four children, David (Julie) Maloney, James Maloney, John (Lauren) Maloney and Shannon Maloney; her 7 grandchildren; her beloved dogs Lucy and Bella, and also her countless plants and animals that she cared for over the years. She was a beloved friend to so many. Her love for her children, grandchildren, friends, pets and plants was limitless and eternal.

Jody was a sweet soul, a kid at heart, a lover of all things silly. Her heart was full of pure, unconditional love and kindness.

She was a talented gardener; her backyard was her sanctuary, overflowing with plants, flowers and unique trinkets; all of which brought her true joy. She shared a special bond with her Grandson Joey that she spent much of her time with. She cared so deeply for all of her grandchildren.

Her one of a kind smile and her lighthearted, caring nature will be remembered forever.

Relatives and Friends will be received by her family on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 after 11:00 am in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro, PA followed by her Memorial Service at 12:00 p.m.  Her interment will be private.
