John P. Condron, of Warminster, passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2021. He was 89 years old. John was the loving husband of Marianne M. Condron with whom he shared 32 years of marriage. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of Anne B. and John P. Condron, Sr.
John was an alumnus of St. Thomas More High School and received his Bachelor’s Degree from LaSalle University. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Following his service, he worked in sales with Garrett Buchanon for over thirty years. He was heavily involved with his local American Legion and with the local VA. John enjoyed opera and Luciano Pavarotti, going to Wildwood, smoking cigars, and was a movie aficionado. He loved watching TCM and older horror films. John cheered on all of the Philly sports teams, particularly his beloved Phillies and Eagles. Above all else, he cherished his family, especially his grandchildren, who will fondly remember him for his great storytelling.
In addition to his wife, John is survived by his children, John Patrick, Lucy , Rosemary (William), Ted (Dena), Joanne (Jim), Ed (Laurie), and Kevin (Lori); his grandchildren, Sean, Lindsey, Jessica, Bill Jr., Andrew, Mike, Lauren, Alli, Tina, Samantha, Laura, Julianne, Olivia, Ed, Kyle, and Hailey; and his 16 great-grandchildren.
The family is thankful for close family friend Connie and also Wanda from Luther Woods for providing gracious care and support for John.
Relatives and friends will be received Wednesday June 2nd after 10:30 am in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro until the time of his memorial service at 11:30 am. His interment will immediately follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.
