John W Gantt

John W. Gantt, of Horsham, PA passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023. He was 76 years old. John was born in Abington, PA in 1946 and he was the son of the late John C. Gantt and Althea Gantt (Beck). John was the beloved husband of Lee Gantt (Barall) and together they shared 52 years of marriage.

John worked as a purchasing manager and later as a sales manager.  He enjoyed coaching soccer, tee-ball, and baseball for his children when they were young.  He was also involved in the Boy Scouts and loved to camp, garden, and tinker with his garden railroad and trains.   

John is survived by his beloved wife Lee Barall Gantt, his children: Jeff (Carrie) Gantt, Deb (Mark) Lanza, and Jason (Wenter) Gantt, and his grandchildren: Nick and Bella Lanza, Benjamin and Carter Gantt, and Gracie Gantt.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend John’s visitation on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. followed by his celebration of life at 11:30 A.M. in the Schneider Funeral Home located at 431 N. York Road, Hatboro, PA 19040. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery, Huntingdon Valley, PA.
