John B. McIlroy

John B. McIlroy of Horsham, PA passed away peacefully on Nov 18, 2025.  Beloved husband for 62 years of Irene McIlroy (née Costello) and loving father of Bernard John and Christopher John (and wife Kristen).  Adoring grandfather of Kyle (and wife Angelica), Connor, and Aidan. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.  He was born in Philadelphia on April 14, 1939 to late parents Mary McIlroy (née Fern) and Bernard James McIlroy.  He was a graduate of North Catholic High School in Philadelphia.  He proudly served his nation in the US Army and also enjoyed the comradery at VFW/Jenkintown.. He worked at, and loved, golf courses his whole life. Relatives and friends will be received by his family on Monday, November 24th after 10:00am in St Catherine of Siena Church, 321 Witmer Road, Horsham and to attend his Funeral Mass at 11:00am. His interment will be private. Memorial donations may be made to the J. Wood Platt Caddie Scholarship Trust, 1974 Sproul Road, Suite 400 Broomall, PA 19008.
