John "Shone" B Carbo, Jr.

John (Shone) B. Carbo, Jr., 86 of Hatboro PA, passed away January 30, 2021.  Born in 1934 in Berwyn, PA, son of John B. Carbo Sr. and Elizabeth (Borzillo).

John grew up in the Howellville area and graduated from Conestoga High School, Pierce School of Business Administration and Montgomery County Community College. He previously resided in Conshohocken, Jeffersonville and New Port Richey, FLA.

He is predeceased by his wife JoAnne (Pecharo) who he was happily married to for 56 years, and is survived by his children Antoinette Carbo and Annemarie (Carbo) Verrecchia, son-in-law Giuliano and grandsons Mario and Augustino along with sister Theresa (Carbo) Hansen of Lafayette Hill.  He was proceeded in death by sister Anna (Carbo) Vagnoni.

John was a member of the US Army and worked for many years at the J.W. Riley Company in Haverford as an Account Executive.

He enjoyed football and was a lifelong fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and more recently the Tampa Bay Bucaneers.  He also enjoyed watching Formula One racing and National Geographic.  John and JoAnne enjoyed hosting elaborate dinner parties and entertaining over the decades with family and friends.  They travelled extensively to Mexico, the Caribbean, Hawaii, the Mediterranean, and Europe. They spent their retirement of 26 plus years in Florida which was always their dream.  John passed peacefully at Gloria Dei at the Park after fighting a long and courageous battle against ALS.

Fiends and family are welcome to pay their respects at Nativity of Our Lord Church 605 West Street Road Warminster, PA 18974 on Saturday February 27th, visitation at 10am, mass 11am immediately followed by interment at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Norristown.
