Joyce A. Marschall

Joyce A. Marschall of Hatboro passed away on June 19, 2024.  She was 85 years old.  Joyce was the beloved wife of the late Daniel C. Marschall.  She was a daughter of the late George A. and Arlene C. Smith.

She is survived by two children, Jeanette A. Marschall-Galante (Robert) and Rick L. Marschall, two grandchildren, George B. Marschall and Alexandra L. Marschall,  brother-in-law, A. James Breaux (late Joy C. Breaux - sister) and nephew, Kevin Breaux (Colleen).

Joyce was a Golden Star Member of the Order of the Eastern Star of Pennsylvania (initiated October 1959).  She proudly served Doylestown Chapter as a Past Matron.  She was also honored to serve the OES of PA with many appointments, including past D.D.G.M., past Grand Representative of Maryland in PA, and P.A.G.O. Grand Electa of OES of PA.

Joyce loved the water, being an avid swimmer, snorkeler and water skier.  She was also fond of driving her white Corvette in local parades.  Joyce delighted in and cherished spending time with her family on Long Beach Island.  She enjoyed traveling with Dan to St. Thomas and on cruises with best friends, Judy and the late Elliot Sauertieg.

Relatives and friends will receive her family on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 after 12:00 p.m., followed by her Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m.  Her interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in Joyce’s memory may be made to the PA Eastern Star Service Dogs Project charity.  Donations can be sent to:
