Judith Tarman Obituary

Judith K. Tarman, 78 of Hatboro, PA passed away on January 15, 2020. She was the beloved wife of John (Jack) Tarman Jr with whom she shared 59 years of marriage. She was born on November 1, 1941 in Abington, PA and was the daughter of the late Howard and Marie Kirk.

After graduating from Abington High School, Judy worked at Sun-Oil Company in Philadelphia Pa. Judy then married Jack who was her high school sweetheart. Judy was a very dedicated Wife, Mother, grand mother and great grandmother. Family was everything to her and she took every opportunity to spend time with them. Judy enjoyed her family vacations to the Jersey shore in Wildwood and Cape May as well as trips to the Zoo with her grandchildren. When her children were in school Judy was an active member of the various parent organizations. She dedicated many hours to the Upper Moreland Music Patrons and attended virtually every performance throughout all four of her children's and granddaughter's marching band careers. Judy seldom missed any of her children's or grandchildren's sporting events, school events, or church events. For many years Judy was involved with the ladies auxiliary of the Willow Grove Volunteer Fire company and made several life long friendships that endured well beyond their involvement in the organization. Judy was an active member of Jenkintown United Methodist Church before transferring to Lehman United Methodist where she made yet more life long and cherished friendships. Judy is remembered by her family and friends as a very kind and giving person who always had a smile on her face and a warm greeting for everyone she met. Judy will be greatly missed.

In addition to her husband Jack, Judy is survived by two sons; Jeff and his wife Shawn of Willow Grove and Jim and his Fiancee Bonita of Harleysville, two daughters; June and her husband Harry of Kintnersville and Jill and her husband Jeff of East Amherst, NY, eight grandchildren; April, Tim, Elizabeth, Jamison, Shannon, Kristin, Tyler, Jacob, and four great grandsons; Dane, Josyah, Everett and Mason. Judy is also survived by a sister Carole and her husband Woody of Lewisville, TX and a brother David and his wife Janet of Ambler, two nephews, Kirk and Matt and a niece Kari.
