Katherine Kozlowski Obituary
Katherine A. Kozlowski (nee Schill), of Hatboro passed away Saturday, January 11, 2020. She was 79. She was the beloved wife of the late Chester Kozlowski, with whom she had shared 50 years of marriage. Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Alexander W. and Elizabeth C. (nee Lamping) Schill Fowler. In addition to her husband and parents, Katherine was predeceased by her stepfather, John E. Fowler.
She is survived by four children: Norma Jean Cavaliere and (Paul F.), Charles Edward Kozlowski, Andrew Thomas Kozlowski (Jennifer Stinnard), and Carol Anne Baier (Jack P.); five grandchildren: Rachel Elizabeth, John Wyatt, and Rebecca Michelle Baier, Dean William, and Jenna Nicole Cavaliere; siblings: Irene Bookheimer and John J. Fowler; and many loving nieces and nephews.
After her marriage to Chester on July 22, 1961 they settled in Hatboro, Pennsylvania to build a life together, and raise their family. Katherine worked many years in the fabrication and assembly of electronics and circuitry. She later worked locally as an office clerk. She was known by all for her ability to be organized and prepared for anything that life threw her way. She was a rock to her family in all of life's storms. She will forever be remembered for her many talents that she enjoyed sharing with others including sewing, crocheting, needlework, gardening and most of all her Christmas Cookies. Katherine also enjoyed playing games of skill and strategy like Mah Jongg, Scrabble, and various card games with friends and family. She was a kind and devoted friend, which was easily apparent by the continuous knock at her back door. No one was ever a stranger for long, just a friend that she hasn't met yet. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited for visitation after 10 a.m. Thursday, January 16, 2020, followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro. Her interment will follow in Pine Grove Memorial Park Cemetery, Warminster.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
