Kathleen M. Keen

Kathleen Marie “Kathy” Keen, age 74, peacefully passed away surrounded by family on the morning of Tuesday, April 1st, 2025, at her residence in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. She was born on July 29th, 1950, in Phillipsburg, New Jersey. Kathy is the daughter of the late Earl and Catherine Reade.

Kathy achieved her associate’s degree in computer science. She spent over twenty years at Burlington Coat Factory as an IT manager prior to her retirement. Kathy was a nature enthusiast at heart. From her younger days participating in the local 4H club and hiking the Henry Wood’s trails, to her later years tending to her flower and vegetable gardens. Kathy was an avid pet lover having both cats and dogs her entire life.  She enjoyed traveling throughout the United States as well as cruising the Caribbean Islands. Kathy cherished moments with her family; the annual sisters’ trip and family holidays were her favorite times of the year. She loved spending time with her friends, whether going out to local restaurants or staying in to play cards. One of Kathy’s most treasured memories was playing her keyboard with her dear friend.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband William Keen with whom she shared 20 years of marriage, and her dear sister, Patricia Price.

Kathy is survived by her two sisters, Margaret Mohn and Jane Woehrle, two sons, Ronald Meixsell Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Willow Grove and Greggory Meixsell and his wife Kristine of Nazareth, and her four grandchildren, Jenna, Alexis, Stephanie, and Christopher.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Sunday, April 6th, 2025 after 11:00 am in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Rd, Hatboro and to attend her Funeral Service at 12:00 pm.
