It';s with a heavy heart that I say this. My Aunt (Auntie) Laura Berridge passed away last night
(my mom's baby sister). She was stubborn, independent, creative, and so much fun! She was in
a blind golf league for a while, loved crafting, adventures, shopping and cats, and adored my
brother and I (her only nephew and niece). She was sick since she was little, but just kept going.
We called her our little energizer bunny because of this! She survived diabetes, hip
replacements, going blind, open heart surgery, and countless other health issues, and finally is
at peace. She's not in pain anymore and her battle is over. She passed away with family by her
side. I'm glad I was able to say goodbye in person. My heart hurts as she was one of my favorite
people and a role model, just like my father and Uncle Brad. She would of been 60 this year
(doctors said she wouldn't live past her teens)! Continue to keep our family in your thoughts.
We'll let you know when services are. Love you Auntie Laura.
