Lawrence “Larry” J. Stienes, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 72. Larry was the beloved and devoted husband of Bonnie L. (nee Rose) Stienes with whom he had shared over 46 years of marriage. Larry was a son of the late Andrew and Helen Stienes and was born in Philadelphia, PA. He grew up and remained a resident in Warminster, PA.
In addition to his wife, Larry is survived by his daughter, Nicole Lynne Moore and her husband, A.W.; and his son, Eric Lawrence Stienes and his wife, Katie; his grandchildren, Wheeler, Londyn, Christian, Luca; and brothers and sisters, Drew, Charles, Mary, and Barbara.
Larry was a proud U.S. Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War, earning a Combat Infantryman Badge and 2 Bronze Stars. After the war, Larry returned home and went to work as a concrete truck driver to provide for his family. He retired after 40 years. Larry also was an avid hunter and fisherman who was always ready with a witty one liner or a helping hand. He was a selfless family man who continuously did anything to support his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received by his family on Friday, April 9, 2021 after 11:30 am until the time of his memorial service at 12:30 pm in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro.
