Linda Elgart

Linda Elgart, of Warrington, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021. She was 80 years old. Linda was the loving wife of 58 years to the late Stanley H. Elgart. Born in Astoria, New York, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Sara Fels.

In addition to her profound love for her family, Linda’s professional career was also a cornerstone of her life. She took great pride in being a part of the launch team for the new Montgomery Mall in 1977. She continued her career at the Willow Grove Park Mall until her retirement in 2016. She was a kind, gentle, fun-loving soul who cared deeply for all of those around her. Linda was a wonderful Wife, Daughter, Mother, Mother-in-Law, Sister-in-Law, Bubby, and friend to many. She took pride in the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren and spoke of them often to friends and family with great pride. She cherished the friendships she formed while growing up in Astoria, NY that remained active until her passing. With no regard for her recent challenges, Linda always kept an optimistic attitude and a positive outlook.

Linda is survived by her sons, Jeffrey Elgart (Mark Rotenstreich) and Russell Elgart (Kimberly); her grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Evan Elgart, her Sister-in-Law, Ellen Elgart and was the aunt of Scott (Lisa Campbell) and Craig (Melissa) Fels.

Per Linda’s request, there will be no funeral service. The family is planning a celebration of life at a later date and the family will communicate any updates.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Linda’s memory may be made to the either The American Cancer Society or to the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of NYC.
