Linwood Smith

Linwood Smith of Hatboro, PA passed away on March 13, 2025 at 80 years old.  He was known to all as Lin.  Lin was the beloved husband of Eileen Geary, with whom he had shared over 24 years of marriage.  He was born in Findlay, Ohio, son of the late George and Esther Smith.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Sara and Elisabeth Smith, and a grandson Sheadon.  He also had two step-sons, Kevin and Ed Geary, and four step-grandchildren. 

Lin was an avid sports fan and a billiards expert who was known for his game, especially at the Ben Wilson Senior Center.  He was also known for his contagious laugh.   

Relatives and friends will be received by his family on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 after 11:00 AM followed by his Memorial Service at 12:00 PM in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro, PA 19040.  

His interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in Lin’s memory may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundations.
