Louise L. Lapp

Louise L. Lapp of Hatboro, passed away on April 9, 2025 surrounded by her loving family, she was 91 years old. Louise was the beloved wife of the late Edward C. Lapp, Sr. with whom she had shared 55 years of marriage. She was born and raised in Philadelphia to Edward A. and Mary Rose Sweeney.

 Louise graduated from Dobbins Technical High School in 1952 and went on to meet the love of her life, Edward on a blind date in 1955. While raising and providing for her family, Louise retired from New Age Industries after more than 20 years of service.

Louise is survived by her children, Ed Lapp, Jr., Steve Lapp (Huong) and Linda Hoffmann (Ted), two grandchildren, Stephanie Hoffmann and Stephen Lapp a sister Margaret Fidler, and many nieces and nephews. Louise was preceded in death by two sisters, Jane Haney and Betty Haegele.

 Relatives and friends will be received by her family on Friday, April 18, 2025 after 10:00 am in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro and are invited to attend her Prayer Service at 11:00 am. Her interment will immediately follow in Pine Grove Memorial Park Cemetery, Hatboro. The family would also like to thank the staff at Neshaminy Manor and Caring Hospice Services for the wonderful care they provided to her.  In lieu of flowers donations in Louise’s name may be made to donor’s choice.
