Lynn Diane Mahon

Lynn Diane Mahon of Hatboro passed away on January 2, 2025, at the age of 80. She was the beloved daughter of the late Howard and Helen Clarke of Philadelphia, PA. Lynn is survived by her loving children, Michelle Lynn Tyson (Mark) and Jeffrey Michael Mahon (Rebecca); her cherished grandchildren, Tyler Timothy See, Trent Xavier Tyson, Jack Robert Mahon, and William Graham Mahon; a sister, Phyllis Thomas; and a brother, Alan Clarke. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Jean Salwach.

A devoted mother, Lynn found the greatest joy in family gatherings, especially around the holidays. She was a passionate fan of the Phillies and Eagles, and could often be found attending her children’s and grandchildren’s sporting and performance events. Lynn also had a love for QVC shopping, soft pretzels, and the Mummers Parade, all of which brought her much happiness.  Lynn’s love for animals was evident in her bond with her dogs and her horse, Tally, whom she proudly rode in barrel racing competitions and parades. She also enjoyed many special moments spent at Lake Wallenpaupack, a place that held a special place in her heart.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family on Thursday, January 9, 2024, after 10:00 a.m. for a visitation, followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. at Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro, PA. Lunch will be held immediately afterward, and all are welcome to attend.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Safe Haven Thoroughbred Rescue in memory of Lynn Mahon.
