Margaret L Katona

Margaret Katona of Willow Grove passed away on Friday, June 21, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.  She was 81 years old.  She was the beloved wife of the late John P. Katona Sr.  with whom she had shared over 63 years of marriage.  Margaret was born in Philadelphia, PA a daughter of the late Nathan C and Lydia C Ervin.

Margaret is survived by her Children, Diane Conlan and her husband Joseph, Annette Rosenberg and her husband Alan, John Katona Jr. and his wife Susan, Grandchildren Chrisy, Mark, Lauren, Steven, Janine and Brooke, Great Grandchildren Evelyn, Audrey, Jackson and Connor, Sister Jane Sladek, preceded in death by Brothers John Cattell and Raymond Cattell.

Margaret was a devoted housewife who adored her husband as well as her entire family.  She was a master cake designer and her cakes were as delicious as they were beautiful.  She loved her annual family vacations in Wildwood and occasional trips to the casino.  She shopped as if it were her job.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Tuesday June 25th after 10am in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 321 Witmer Road, Horsham and to attend her Funeral Mass at 11am.  Her interment will follow in St. John Newmann Cemetery, Chalfont.  In lieu of flowers memorials in Margaret's name may be made to: Dementia Society of America
