Margaret C. McDevitt, 91, of Horsham passed away on 6/18/26.
Marge was born in Philadelphia, daughter of the late Francis and Margaret (nee Magee) Markward on
October 30,1934. Marge worked many jobs from telephone operator to everyone’s favorite Avon lady to
administrative assistant at Honeywell. While working at Honeywell she earned her bachelor's degree
from LaSalle University attending at night while working full-time. She volunteered for many groups
including being a troop leader for the Girl Scouts, a United Way fundraising leader and donating items to
help groups supporting the homeless. Marge and John traveled to many tropical destinations but her
favorite vacation spot was North Wildwood with her extended family.
Marge is survived by children John, Michael, and Catherine; grandchildren Kate, Rachel, Connor, Brianna
and Keira, and all her favorite nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband John, her son
Patrick, her brothers George Markward, Francis Markward and Charles Markward.
Burial will be private and a celebration of life will be held later this year.
