Margaret "Peg" R. Nikander

Margaret Reynolds Nikander Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, Margaret Ann Reynolds (Peggy) Nikander went home to be with Jesus on August 22, 2022, in Abington Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. 

Born in Bethlehem, PA, to Beatrice and Bartholomew Reynolds, Peggy is survived by her older sister Mary Bard and younger sister Beatrice Cist.  She is also survived by sons Robert (Diane), Peter (Teri), and Timothy (Maryann); and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her “Bobby,” beloved husband Robert, Sr., brothers Jay and William Reynolds, her sister Joanie Ryan, and son Michael.

A resident of Horsham, PA, since 1954, Peggy leaves behind a legacy of caring love, family devotion, a generous spirit, and tireless work ethic.  Generous to a fault, Peggy gave of herself to all with whom she made contact.  She was a fixture at the voting polls in Horsham.  Her devotion and love to her sons and grandchildren and great grandchildren are truly her most important legacy, and she will be sorely and greatly missed. 

Relatives and friends will be received by her family on Friday, September 2nd after 10:00 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 321 Witmer Road, Horsham, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations in Peggy’s name to Habitat for Humanity, 533 Foundry Rd, Norristown, PA 19403, or to a charity of your choice.
