Maria “Sanchez” Chesnalavage, of Warminster, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021. She was 84. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis Joseph Chesnalavage with whom she had shared 25 years of marriage. Born in Seoul, South Korea, Maria was a daughter of the late Hong Soon Tak and Soon Rae Sim.
She is survived by a son, Jesus Sanchez and his wife, Ruthellen; and daughter, Angela Robinson and her husband, Robert; six grandchildren, Bryan, Tom, Phil and his wife, Simone, Keith, Tyler, and Michael; and three great granddaughters and two great grandsons. She was predeceased by two sisters; Connie Snyder and Margie Giovianazzo.
Maria was a devout catholic who loved her church. She enjoyed word puzzles, watching Family Feud, tending to her plants, cooking for her loved ones, styling hair, and helping everyone look and feel beautiful. Her life revolved around her family and her beloved salon customers. Maria, born as Unsun, was small and mighty—always looking to serve others with her generous heart and thoughtful gestures.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday, February 5th after 9:00 a.m. in Nativity of Our Lord Church, 605 W. Street Road, Warminster and to attend her Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Her interment in Our Lady of Dawn Cemetery, Shenandoah, PA will follow on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 11:30 a.m.
