Marian Esbenshade Obituary

Marian B. (Buskirk) Esbenshade, a 64-year resident of Warminster, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016 at the Masonic Village of Warminster. She was 83. Marian was the beloved wife of the late I. Spencer Esbenshade, with whom she shared 51 years of marriage. Born and raised in Easton, Pa., she was a daughter of the late William F. and Mary C. Buskirk.
Marian enjoyed taking trips to the casino and playing scratch off lottery games. Midlife, she enjoyed traveling to Florida during the winter, taking her grandchildren to Disney whenever possible. In her later years, Marian became an avid Bingo player and spent countless hours reading books, sometimes finishing 2 or 3 in a week.
She will be remembered for her pleasant personality and for her role as the "Supervisor" of Masonic Village since 2011.
Marian is survived by her daughters, Marian Chambers (James) and Barbara Picciotti (Richard); her grandchildren, Mark and Chris Chambers, and Ricky and Justin Picciotti; her great granddaughter, Ava, and her many friends at Masonic Village.

In addition to her husband, Marian was preceded in death by her three sons, her sisters, Ida, Irene, Anna, Elizabeth, Florence, and Elsie; and her brothers Clyde and James. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing after 9 a.m. until her funeral service at 10:30 a.m., Monday, Feb. 1, at the Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro. Interment will follow in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery, New Holland, Pa. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Marian may be made to the American Heart Association, 1617 John F. Kennedy Blvd., #700, Philadelphia, PA 19103 or to the Bucks County SPCA, P.O. Box 277, Lahaska, PA 18931.
