Marie H Baehr

Marie H. Baehr (nee Hoyler), 94, of Hatboro, PA, and formerly of Olney passed away on October 1, 2022. 

Marie was a woman of strong religious faith, whose kindness and zest for life were evident each day. After raising their children in Philadelphia, Marie and her late husband moved to Gloria Dei Farms in Hatboro, where she most recently enjoyed Tuesday night Bingo and Friday Happy Hour. Marie especially loved spending time with her family and was delighted earlier this year to meet the newest addition to that family, her great-grandson Teddy. 

Marie is survived by her children: Ruth (Richard) Howe, William (Ruth) Baehr, and Janice Rosenbaum; five grandchildren: William J Baehr, Gregory Howe, Sarah Silvis (Adam), Kathryn Howe, Connor Rosenbaum; and two great-grandchildren: Suesan Lynn Baehr and Theodore Charles Silvis; her sisters: Jessie Coleman and Helen Brettle (Ray); and several nieces and nephews. Marie was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Albert W. Baehr; daughter Lynn Marie Baehr; and sister Margaret Harbord. 

Family and friends are invited to Marie’s viewing on Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 9:30 A.M. – 10:30 A.M. at the Schneider Funeral Home located at 431 N. York Road, Hatboro, PA 19040 with a funeral service to immediately follow. Interment is in Hillside Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions in Marie’s name may be made to the United Methodist Church of Huntingdon Valley, 3470 Huntingdon Pike, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006 or to a charity of one’s choice.
