Mario Bellezza

Mario Bellezza of Horsham passed away on July 13, 2022 in Abington, PA. He was 98. He was the devoted husband of Mary Rose with whom he shared 53 years of marriage before her passing in 2000. He was born in Enna, Sicily to Giuseppe and Maria Bellezza.

 Mario completed 8th grade and left school to work and help support his family. He later joined the Army and was a sergeant when he was honorably discharged. He spent the rest of his working years in a tailor shop making men’s coats and suits. Because of his ability to fix things, he became the go-to guy when sewing machines in the shop needed fixing.  He was a self-taught radio, tv and watch repairman. After retirement, he and  Mary purchased a condo on the Florida beach where they spent many winters enjoying the sun and warmth. It was a place he loved.

 Mario is survived by his sister Yolanda and her husband Gus, his daughter Linda and her husband Ken, his son Dennis and his wife Pat as well as grandchildren Keith, Michael, Kevin and Suzanne. He has five great grandchildren, Andi, Logan, Kenley,  Abby and Cameron.

His family was the most important thing to him and he was deeply loved and will be forever missed.

 Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Tuesday, July 19th after 10 am in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 321 Witmer Road, Horsham and to attend his Funeral Mass at 11 am.
