Marlene S. Robos of Horsham passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024. She was 85 years old. She was the beloved wife of the late George S. Robos with whom she had shared over 61 years of marriage. Marlene was born in Philadelphia, PA as daughter of the late Florian and Anna Scheibenhoffer.
She is survived by her children, Denise Giaccio and her husband Chad, Steven Robos and his wife Karen and Diane DeSantis and her husband Mark, her five grandchildren, Erik DeSantis (Emily), Kyle DeSantis, Tyler DeSantis (Jennifer), Joshua DeSantis and Jillian Giaccio and her two great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Madeline DeSantis. Marlene is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and extended family.
Marlene devoted her life to her family, whether that meant volunteering at her children’s school library or braving her fear of flying to go to Disney World with her grandkids. She loved the beach and hosting family gatherings, and she was known for her excellent baking, especially her cheesecake and Christmas cookies.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, Easton and County Line Road, Warrington, PA. Her Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m., and interment will follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marlene’s memory may be made to two of her favorite organizations, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
