Martha R. Buhner

Martha R. Buhner, of Richboro, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, January 31, 2020. She was 34 years old. Martha was the beloved wife of Philip Herter. Born in Abington, PA, she was a daughter of the late Frederick W. and Martha S. (nee Rose) Buhner. 

After graduation from Academy of the New Church, Martha Rose Buhner graduated from LaSalle University with a bachelor’s degree.  As a professional, she worked in the accounting field. Growing up Martha was a Gold Award Girl Scout, earning the highest recognition. Martha Rose Buhner had a real passion for riding horses, sewing, crafting and baking. Summers included family vacations at Long Beach Island, Bar Harbor Maine and other travel destinations throughout the world.

In addition to her husband, Martha is survived by her daughter, Ellie Rose Herter; her two sisters, Patricia R Lyons and Elizabeth R Ott (Andrew); her Brothers-in-law, Rob Herter and Christopher Herter; her sister-in-law, Rachel Herter; her mother and father-in-law, Robert and Lisa Herter; and her nieces and nephews, Leila, Marco, Macie, and Paxton.

Relatives and friends will be received by her family on Tuesday, February 4th after 10:00 AM in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro and are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 12:00 PM. Her interment will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park Cemetery, Ambler.
