Mary Scott Biggin of Hatboro PA, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024, surrounded by her family. Born on October 18, 1925, she was 98 years old. Mary was married to the late Bill Morris for twenty years before their divorce and her beloved husband of nearly forty years the late Tim Biggin. She was born in Philadelphia PA a daughter of the late James Herbert and Mary Sharp (nee Struse) Scott.
Mary loved to travel. She has been to all fifty states, most of Europe, the Arctic and Antarctic circles. and every continent between them. Her favorite trip was her African Safari where she saw the animals she loved in person. As a born leader, she was a scout leader for her children, a matron in the Eastern Star, and Queen Bee of the Wesley Red Hatters. Mary played bridge at a master level and taught many people so she would always have new partners. She had a passion for flowers and her homes were continuously surrounded by beautiful blooming flowers.
Mary is survived by her children Bob Morris and his wife Paula of Huntsville AL, and Joyce Morris-Wiman and her husband Fred of Lewisburg WV, 3 grandchildren, Kevin Morris and his wife Meaghan of Harvest AL, Caitlin Boone and her husband Larry of Toledo OH, and Josh Wiman of Lund, Sweden, and 3 great-grandchildren, Ainslee, Harrison, and Lincoln Morris. Mary was preceded in death by a son James Morris.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 14th at 1 pm at Wesley Enhanced Living, 2815 Byberry Rd, Hatboro PA 19040. Her interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary’s name may be made to The Philadelphia Zoo, Development Department, 3400 W Girard Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19104.
