Obituary
Mary Elizabeth Gross of Warmnister, Pennsylvania passed peacefully on April 22, 2023 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was 68 years old. Beloved wife of John Kalman with whom she had shared over 39 years of marriage. Devoted mother of Andrew Kalman (Kate), Lauren Kalman, and Geoffrey Kalman (Kellie). Loving grandmother “Grossie” of Connor, Nicholas, Parker, and Jacob. Dear sister of Harry, Rose, Joseph, William, and Charles. She is predeceased by her mother Rose (Parr) and her father, Harry Gross.
Mary was born in Philadelphia and graduated from Archbishop Wood High School, Abington Nursing School, and LaSalle University. She was a dedicated operating room nurse at Abington Memorial Hospital and later Fox Chase Cancer Center, and also an integral part in growing a small business with her husband, John.
Mary was a loving mother to her three children. She approached life with a positive outlook, an incredible sense of humor, and an unmatched dedication to her family. She enjoyed traveling, reading, fitness, and time spent with loved ones in Ocean City, NJ.
