Mary K. Vinglas passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was 81 years old. Born in Gallitzin, PA to the late Edward and Stella Mulhern, Mary was the beloved wife of the late William J. Vinglas with whom she had shared over 49 years of marriage.
Mary was an active member of St. John Bosco Roman Catholic Church in Hatboro and a life member of N.E.R.A. (the Naval Enlisted Reserve Association). She loved puzzles, word games like Wordle and Crosswords, creating ceramics, and crocheting, along with her beloved Philadelphia sports teams, especially the Eagles and Sixers.
Mary is survived by her loving children; Colleen Sobotka, Sandy Ellefson (Ross), Jim Horten (Jane), Bill Vinglas, Jr. (Heather) and Kathy Hetzel (Joe), 16 adoring Grandchildren—Jason, Shannon, Bobby, Jimmy, Race, Danny, Chris, Rebekah, Johanna, Rochelle, Sydney, Charlize, Joshua, Adam, Lauren, and Nicole— 19 great Grandchildren, and 5 Sisters— Sis, Nini, Bernadette, Jeanne, and Peggy. In addition to her husband and parents, Mary was predeceased by; 2 Grandchildren—Heather and Ashley, 4 Sisters—Nancy, Betty, Margie, and Diane—and 2 Brothers—Edward and Patrick.
Relatives and friends will be received by her family on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. in St. John Bosco Roman Catholic Church, 215 E. County Line Road, Hatboro, PA 19040 followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Her interment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont, PA.
