Matthew Frederick Vaughn, Jr.

Matthew Frederick Vaughn Jr. of Hatboro passed away with family by his side on April 18, 2026. He was 78 years old. He was born in the Far North East area of Philadelphia known as Normandy. He was the son of the late Matthew F. Vaughn Sr., and the late Mary McLoughlin Vaughn.

Matthew graduated from Father Judge High School in 1965 and worked as a Retail Manager for over 50 years.  He enjoyed Stephen King novels, cheering on Philadelphia sports teams, and visiting Myrtle Beach. He was also a devoted pet parent throughout the years.

In addition to his wife Madonna Cianfichi, he is survived by his daughters Katie(William), Janet(Stacey), and his son Matthew III(Jerry); his grandchildren, Katelyn, Lexi, MJ, and Jalynn. He is also survived by his sister Maureen(Gary), and brother John(Eileen) and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sisters Mary Ann, and Claire.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by a mass at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church located at 321 Witmer Road, Horsham, PA 19044. His interment will be private.
