Meade Shafer

G. Meade Shafer of Warminster, PA passed away on April 17, 2020 with his daughters by his side. He was the beloved husband of the late Bernice Shafer with whom he shared 52 years of marriage. Meade was born in Philadelphia, PA and was the son of the late Girard Meade and Lillian (Bennett) Shafer.

After graduating from Olney High School, Meade joined the Air Force in 1951. He then became a lifelong draftsman at Leeds and Northrup in North Wales, PA until his retirement. Meade enjoyed golf, fishing, music and sports. He also loved spending time with his family and will be remembered as a gentle, kind and funny Dad and Poppop who will be greatly missed.

Meade is survived by his two daughters, Sheryl Edwards of Hatboro, Michele Krouch (Steve) of Haddon Township, NJ, 3 grandchildren Stefanie Muldoon (Matt), Chris Edwards (Kari) and Megan Krouch along with 5 great-grandchildren Grant, Avery, Audrey, Emmy and Ethan.
