Obituary

Michael T. Suchodolski entered into eternal peace on Friday, December 31, 2021,he was 66. He was born in Philadelphia, PA to his loving parents Martha and Joseph Suchodolski and resided in Warminster, PA with his adoring wife of 41 years, Janice. Together, he and Janice journeyed through life, love, parenthood and happiness.

At a young age, Michael developed a deep interest in learning how to read and write music while playing the accordion and piano. His interest grew into passion for music history and performing in several bands since the age of 13. That same passion would not only last his whole life, it also led him to meet the love of his life, Janice, when he showed up at her house to audition for a band with her brothers in 1975. He ended up getting the part as the pianist.

Michael attended the Philadelphia College of Performing Arts where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music Theory and Composition. He also earned an Associate’s Degree in Engineering and Math from Bucks County Community College. His professional career began while working alongside his father as a machinist at Tottser Tool & Die Co. He then ventured into the manufacturing industry working at WeatherTite/Accuweld for 29 years before working at Mack Truck as Materials Supervisor. Michael took pride in his work, and continually found ways to improve his skills and knowledge. He was well respected by many colleagues throughout the years.

He loved spending time with his family, friends and dog, Rosie. He thoroughly enjoyed reading about history and the civil war, exploring nature, and nights by the fire pit telling stories of his life travels and jokes. He looked forward to his annual trip to Sullivan County with his son and hosting music fests. You could often find him with a big smile on his face during a weekend gig where he was honored to connect people with his music. He truly was a talented musician and artist of the highest caliber.

Michael showed compassion and selflessness towards others and his love for his family shined as bright as his personality and through the music he wrote. He had a way with words and a sense of humor that was unparallel to others. Michael was always willing to lend a helping hand, words of advice, and encouragement. He was genuine with his actions, his love and his friendships felt by so many lives he has touched.  He will always be the loving husband and soulmate to Janice, and an amazing father that was kind and gentle. Michael ingrained many life lessons and honorably passed on his passion for music to his children. Some of his proudest musical moments were shared alongside his son who plays guitar; together they created beautiful music. He was also proud to dance with both Natalie and Jacquelyn at their weddings while listening to the song he wrote and composed for that dance. His beautiful soul and spirit, laughter and love will be deeply missed; his memories will be everlasting.

In addition to his wife Janice, Michael is survived by his three children Michael, Natalie Domler (Kyle), and Jacquelyn Sellecchia (Mike), his brother, Daniel & Sharin Suchodolski, his canine companion, Rosie, and the entire Suchodolski and Stanojev families, along with many friends. Michael is preceded in death by his brother Joseph and his parents.
