Ned Weller Obituary

Ned S. Weller of Hatboro passed away peacefully on February 12, 2024. He was 63 years old. He was the
beloved husband of Jill Weller with whom he had shared 35 years of marriage. Ned was born in Honey
Brook, PA a son of the late Rev. Lane and Rae Weller.
Ned graduated from Albright College, class of 1982 with a bachelor’s degree in Social Welfare. After
graduation, Ned worked as a social worker for many years before transitioning to the Medical Supply
Industry. Throughout his life Ned loved sports; he coached for Hatboro Little League for 12 years and in
2009 he served as league president. He also coached for HHoops for 10 years and played in a men’s
baseball league with the Hatboro Royals. For over 30 years, Ned played in a men’s Monday night pickup
basketball league through Upper Moreland Township.
In addition to his wife Jill, Ned is survived by his children, Troy Weller and his wife Kirsten of Quakertown
and his daughter Jordan Davis and her husband Kevin of Lansdale, two grandchildren Tristen Weller and
Brooks Davis, his siblings Craig Weller and the late Linda, Keith Weller and his wife Janice, Colin Weller,
Kim Loring and her husband John, Nan Kellerman and her husband Dave and many nieces and nephews.
Ned was preceded in death by his mother-in-law Nancy Rich and nephew Tyler Rich.
Ned will forever be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, friend, coach,
and colleague. While his light is no longer present in this world, it will shine on through our countless
memories and in the lives of all those he impacted.
Relatives and friends will be received by his family on Saturday, February 24 th after 10am at Keystone
Montgomeryville Church, 427 Stump Road, North Wales, PA 19454 and are invited to attend his
Celebration of Life at 11am. His interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in
Ned’s name to Hatboro Little League, 2 Blair Mill Rd, Hatboro, PA 19040, or HERE. To share memories and condolences with Ned’s family, please visit his tribute
