Noreen Coleman Obituary

Noreen Clancy Coleman, of Warminster, PA, died peacefully at home on February 11, 2025 surrounded by family. She was 54 years old.

Noreen is the daughter of Claire C. Coleman and the late Joseph V. Coleman (1985), younger sister of Joseph V. Coleman (Kathleen Kohler) and Michael D. Coleman (Laura Noonan), and Aunt Reen to her six nephews: Nicholas, Matthew, Theo, Christopher, Philip and William.

From a young age, Reen was a natural with children. After graduating from Archbishop Wood for Girls, she attended Millersville University where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Special Education. Being extremely mild mannered, nothing brought the feist out in her more than witnessing a child whose needs were unmet. She was tireless in her pursuit to ensure the infants and children under her care in Early Intervention received all services to not just survive, but to thrive and reach their highest potential, as every child has a right to do.

Noreen valued people. True to form, Aunt Reen provided experiences to her nephews rather than material gifts: experiences like kayaking, letterboxing, Thomas the Tank train table, board games, the Rockettes in New York City, Renaissance Faires, Wildwood, exploring parks, Christmas mornings at our house, the Maryland rental, birthday dinners, Easter egg hunts, and introducing Harry Potter which rocked their world.

Being Irish, Noreen held some strong opinions. Unlike the Irish, she didn't voice them aloud often. Instead, she lived them. Noreen was the Department Director of Early Intervention with BARC Developmental Services since 2016, celebrating her 25th anniversary with BARC last November. She was a member of the Advocacy/Human Rights/Quality Resource Committees, and an agency Certified Investigator. She was an agency trainer of Gender & Cultural Diversity, and Preventing Vehicle Accidents.

Noreen's final days were filled with her awe-inspiring cousins, the family's loyal life-long friends, and truly supportive neighbors. Her send-off was filled with love, and for that we are eternally grateful.

Family and friends are invited to greet the family on Monday, February 17, 2025 from 9:30 A.M. followed by her funeral mass at 11 A.M. in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 856 Euclid Avenue, Warrington.
