Patricia Barth

Patricia Barth (nee Hemmerle) of Philadelphia passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024. She was 88 years old. Patricia (Pat) was the beloved wife of the late Richard Barth. Pat was born in 1935 in Philadelphia, the eldest daughter of the late Edward and Ruth Hemmerle.

She enjoyed gardening and raising house plants. Pat had a real green thumb and was always drawn to the unusual and exotic. At one point, she had over 100 orchids. Pat was a voracious reader of books of various genres throughout her life. She also took great pleasure in reading the Philadelphia newspaper, first the Bulletin and then the Inquirer. Pat was a die-hard sports fan who had a special place in her heart for her Philadelphia Eagles and Penn State Nittany Lions. The light of Pat’s life was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to spoil them, support them in their endeavors and revel in their accomplishments.

Pat is survived by her loving children; Ric Barth (Lisa), Christine Lemanowicz (Jeff), and Ken Barth (Tracy). She is also survived by her grandchildren; Bob, Chris, Amanda, Dana, Zach, Alex, Caroline, Macayla, and Trey, and great grandchildren; Amelia, Summer, Luke and Gavin.

Relatives and friends will be received by her family culminating in a brief service on Monday, March 4, 2024 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Schneider Funeral Home, 431 North York Road, Hatboro, PA. Her interment will be private.
