Patricia A. Clayworth Barr (Nee Foley), of Hatboro, PA, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2024 after a long and courageous battle with heart and lung disease. Patti was born in Philadelphia, PA at St. Joseph’s Hospital on August 16, 1942 but grew up in Wilkes-Barre, PA. She graduated from Meyers High School where she was a strutter in the school’s band front. After high school she attended business school where she fine-tuned her administrative skills to work in the health care field. Eventually she retired from Advantice Health Corporation out of New Jersey. Patti was married to her high school sweetheart, Donald C. Clayworth, for over thirty years until his sudden death. She was also predeceased by her husband, William C. Barr, whom she was married to for over twenty years.
Patti maintained her kindness, humor, compassion and generosity throughout her entire life and enjoyed volunteering her accounting skills to Showtime Charities’ musical shows. One of the charities they donated funds to was Shriners Hospital for Children which held a special place in her heart. Patti loved music, dancing, taking her sons to the family pool during their younger years and spending time at the Atlantic City casinos. She was an avid Philly sports fan, never missing a Phillies’ or an Eagles’ game on TV and she enjoyed playing on the Madison Pool team with her son, Gary, her late husband, Bill and her brother, Bobby. Patti always looked forward to spending time with her family and friends, but the love she had for her three sons, daughter in law and granddaughters out shined everything else. Patti always greeted everyone with her infectious smile and her beautiful blue eyes and never said goodbye without a hug, kiss and an “I Love You”.
Patti was predeceased by her parents, Anne M. Foley and Donald P. Foley of Hatboro, PA, her husband, Donald C. Clayworth of Hatboro, PA, her husband, William C. Barr of Hatboro, PA, her brother, John P. Foley and his wife, Carol of Fort Lauderdale, FL and sister in law, Billie Foley and her husband, Louie Foley and sister in law, Evelyn Lisman.
