Patricia Horin of Hatboro, PA passed away, May 11th, 2022, in her home, surrounded by her loved ones. She was 76 years of age. She was the beloved wife of Edward Horin with whom she shared 42 years of marriage. She was born in Washington, North Carolina, the daughter of the late John and Rosa Lee Frivance.
After marrying her husband, Pat moved to Oahu, Hawaii. There she began raising two beautiful daughters while her husband was away in Vietnam. Upon his return they would briefly return to North Carolina to have a third beautiful daughter, before making the trek up to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She worked in a lamp shade factory, and then as a crossing guard for several years to help support her family as a loving and kind, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed trips to Disney, gambling at the casino and spending time with her family.
Patricia is survived by, three daughters, Lisa MacMurray of Morehead, North Carolina, Selena Hope of Hatboro, and Cynthia Purcell and her husband Robert Purcell of Tampa, Florida. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Shane, Kelsi, and Colin, as well as two brothers, John (Butch), and Larry.
Respecting Patricia’s wishes, no viewing will be held. She is to be cremated, and her ashes will be spread out in the ocean of North Carolina, to join her late husband Edward, so they may rest together in peace.
