Patricia Windish

Patricia Windish of Hatboro passed away March 2, 2020 at the age of 64.  She was the beloved daughter of Bernice Windish-Hawthorne and the late Joseph Edwin Windish. 

Patricia loved her family and found great joy spending time with her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  She also loved animals especially dogs caring for them and pet sitting for family and friends.  Patricia also was an avid poetry writer and reader, bargain hunter and puzzle solver.  Patricia was also known for her athletic background and her appreciation of Chinese food.

In addition to her mother, Patricia is survived by a son, Christopher R. Windish and his wife, Deborah L. Windish, four grandchildren, Nathan, Jeremy, Sarah and Anna Windish, and a brother and three sisters, Joanne Bauer and her husband John, Carol Windish, Joe ”Joey” Windish and his wife, Marylynn, and Sharon Corrigan and her husband, James.

Relatives and friends will be received by her family on Friday, March 13^th after 10:00 a.m. followed by her Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road. Hatboro. Her interment will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park Cemetery, Ambler.  In lieu of flowers memorials in Patricia’s memory may be made to a local animal rescue of the donor’s choice or to the American Cancer Society, at https://donate3.cancer.org.
