Paul V. Williams of West Conshohocken, PA passed away on May 31, 2024. He was 87 years old. Paul was the beloved husband of Catherine M. Williams with whom he had shared over 57 years of marriage. He was born in West Conshohocken a son of the late Elbridge (Earl) and Helen Williams. He is survived by brother James and sister Laura Lee Matos. He is predeceased by 3 brothers – Elbridge, Larry and Francis (Ron) and sister Maureen Carr.
In addition to his wife Paul is survived by his children; Paul V. Williams, Jr. and his wife Nancy, Brian Williams and his wife Carol, Sheryl Valdez and her husband Greg, and Joe Williams and his wife Lisa, ten Grandchildren and eleven Great Grandchildren.
Paul was a U.S. Air Force Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. In his youth, he was an avid golfer and enjoyed basketball (he had a mean Set Shot). He played near-scratch golf throughout early retirement and enjoyed the beach in Florida. When his kids were younger Paul enjoyed watching John Wayne and Weissmuller movies and other westerns from 40s and 50s. He’d watch Roller Derby, wrestling and golf with the kids. He was a self-proclaimed grill master. He was known for his handyman skills, as a neighbor always willing to help others and was always doing improvements to the family home.
Relatives and friends will be received by his family Thursday, July 11, 2024 after 10:00 am in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 856 Euclid Avenue, Warrington, PA followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. His inurnment will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA. In lieu of flowers memorials in Paul’s memory may be made to the American Stroke Association https://www.stroke.org/
