Raymond L. Mumbauer of Warminster passed away peacefully on Tuesday,
August 1,2023 at The Pathways at Warrington. Ray was 90 years old. He was the
devoted husband of Elizabeth H. (Thomas) with whom he shared 57 years of
marriage. He was born and raised in Perkasie, PA, the son of the late Clarence and
Lola Mumbauer.
After graduating from Sell-Perk High School, Ray served in the U.S. Navy. He
then earned his Accounting degree at Rider College. He was employed at Fischer
& Porter Company for 30 years. Ray and Betty were founding members of the
Swingalongs Dance Club and enjoyed ballroom dancing for 42 years. His favorite
past times were canoeing and swimming, especially at Hideaway Swim Club
where he was a member for over 50 years. In his later years he enjoyed playing
dominoes with his sisters June and Susie, and his brother-in-law Ray. The Poconos
and Hilton Head were his two favorite places to vacation.
He is survived by his loving children: Linda Bleau (Robert), Lora Bannach
(Brian), and James. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren: Michael, Kimberly
(Haden), Kevin (Cirla), Sharon, and Brianna (Jared), his great-grandchildren Raylee,
Rhett, and Christopher. Ray was preceded in death by his wife Betty in 2015 and
son Andy in 2008.
Relatives and friends are invited to Ray’s Celebration of Life on Monday,
August 7 th in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 North York Road, Hatboro, PA 19040.
Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. with his service beginning at 11:00 a.m.
Ray will be laid to rest in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, in Ambler, PA. Donations in
Ray’s name may be made to an organization of your choice or to the Wounded
Warrior Project Here.
