Richard Koebert Obituary

Richard J. Koebert, of Hatboro, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at the age of 81 on Wednesday, December 16, 2020. He was the loving husband of Joan E. Koebert (nee Connaughton) with whom he shared 60 years of marriage. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late William F. and Anna M. (nee Wiest) Koebert.

In addition to his wife, Richard is survived by his children, Debbie Koebert, Joan Koebert (Ruby), Jane Koebert, Rich Koebert Jr. (Loretta), and Edward Koebert (Carol); his 11 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

Richard had lived in Hatboro for 30 years and loved his time as Sexton at St. Joseph's Church and spending time with his Army friends. He was an avid fan of both the Eagles and Phillies. His favorite past-time was spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Monday, December 21, 2020 after 9:00 am until the time of his funeral mass at 10:00 am in St. Joseph Church, 1795 Columbia Avenue, Hatboro, PA 19040. His interment will immediately follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Miraculous Medal Shrine, 475 E. Chelten Avenue, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19144 or at https://miraculousmedal.org/.

Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, masks must be worn and social distancing guidelines observed.
