Richard “Rick” Toner, of Hatboro, passed away suddenly on Wednesday May 12. He was 42 years old.
Rick is survived by his son, William “Billy” Christopher Toner; his father, Richard Luzio; and numerous family members and friends. Rick was preceded in death by his grandmother, Virginia Luzio, who helped raise him.
He was born in Abington, PA and maintained his Hatboro roots for most of his life. Rick was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, camping, and all things nature. His happiest times were those spent doing anything with Billy. Whether it was playing video games or just hanging out and being goofy, he always cherished the time they spent together. Rick was a skilled carpenter and had recently pursued his dream of starting his own business. He was an amazing father and best friend to many. His laugh and smile were contagious and will truly be missed.
Relatives and friends will be received after 6:00 PM until the time of his Memorial Service at 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 20 in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro. His interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to help Rick’s son, Billy.
