Robert S. Bergen, Sr.

Robert S. Bergen Sr. 71, of Horsham formerly of Nicetown Philadelphia. Born on February 21st, 1949, Graduated from Roman Catholic Highschool. He was the Beloved Spouse of Donna Tignor, loving Father of Robert Bergen Jr (Amanda) and Katie Bergen (Scott). He was the dear “Pop” of 5 grandchildren Jonny, Brock, Brody, Brayson and soon to be his first granddaughter in June. He was survived by his siblings Joseph and Thomas Bergen, Predeceased by James Jr., Alice Schlacter, Jack Bergen and his Parents James Bergen and Ann Cummings. He was also survived by many Nieces and Nephews.

Robert Retired from Septa as a Train Supervisor after 30 years of service, he belonged to the masonic temple of Philadelphia and was a Philadelphia sports fan

Since retiring, his most favorite memories were enjoying family dinners, spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed spending time with his roommate and dear friend Bill Downing  and all his friends from “the old neighborhood” and Richies where he was known as “RJ”.

Relatives and friends will be received by his family on Monday February 22nd after 10 am in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 321 Witmer Road, Horsham and are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 11:00am. His entombment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Warminster.
